We are a small US-based Tour Operator that specializes in custom designed FIT package tours to the Atlantic Islands – The Portuguese Islands of the Azores & Madeira, as well as the Spanish Canary Islands. We also feature FIT tours to mainland Portugal and Spain.

At Quest we consider ourselves experts in the destinations that we represent so we travel at least once a year, often more, to experience those places. We visit hotels, meet guides, and take tours, just like our clients. We are passionate about what we do and enjoy working with our agents to create the perfect itinerary for their clients as no two trips are the same.

We created a special itinerary for a group of Foodies in Lisbon and the Azores that included special foodie tours, tastings, restaurant experiences and wine tastings on each day. The agent and clients were impressed with the diversity of the itinerary, especially compared to other companies they had looked into.
What is new and exciting that you're looking forward to sharing with this year's ETAF delegates?
The Island of Terceira and the other islands of the Azores. We are so excited to bring agents to this amazing destination.
What are some of the trends you're seeing, and what initiatives are you developing to support travel sellers growing their business
Unique experiences and a different style of travel is what we are offering. We partner with local companies to provide a different itinerary than what other operators are selling. We can do an adventure itinerary with excursions like canyoning, rappelling, biking, hiking, etc. Or a visit to a vineyard or perhaps Azores own Gin Library. We can teach
clients about sustainable agriculture in tourism at the local Donkey farm in the Azores or an olive oil producer in the Alentejo.
What are your commission structures?
12% on our land products and 5% on included airfare
What tools/technologies do you have in place to support travel sellers, and do they integrate into current technologies?
Once an itinerary is designed, we offer agents the ability to have their clients pay online through a secure portal. This is especially valuable if there are many people on a booking, like a family group, and each one wants to enter their contact, passport and payment details individually
When communicating with your company, what can travel advisors expect?
When booking with Quest you will have a single point-person from presenting the quote to receiving pre-trip documentation, during travel support, and post-trip follow up. We try to respond to all requests within 24 hours, sometimes a bit longer in high-season.
